First create and save your estimate or invoice, or tap to view any estimate or invoice already saved to your Joist account.

Tap the Green Circle in the bottom right corner of the screen. A list of options will now appear, including Email, and SMS. Tap whichever method you prefer to continue.

If you choose to send by email, you will be taken to the Send Email screen. Here the email address for your client will already be added in the To section, if you've included this information to your document. If not, you can tap in this field and enter the email address now.

You can customize the Subject and the body of the email if you like.

When you are ready, simply tap the Send button (paper airplane icon) in the top right corner of the screen and Joist will send the email to your client on your behalf.

If you choose to send by SMS, the messaging screen will open with a new message ready to send to your client's phone number. If no phone number was included in the client section of your estimate or invoice, you can enter the number in the To section at the top of the screen now.

You can customize the message if you like, just be sure not to edit or remove the link we've added. This link is how your client will be able to view the estimate or invoice.
